cold makes me shut down NOT HEAT-Any one else with Ms?

I call what i have inflicted, when i am having issues. this summer i couldnt use the air conditioning because it hurt my body or nerves. i am not diagnosed with ms but have similar symtpoms except for the cold, my tip of my tongue has issues.

i have been reading alot and heat seems to be a factor but for me only when i have a fever.

cold shuts me down and make me hurt.

does any one else with ms have the same symptoms?

I have found that the cold bothers me way more than the heat.My tounge doesnt hurt.But it brings on an increase of tremors.In fact I have found that when the seasons change I do as well.I wouldnt say my body shuts down--but it does make it harder to get around.The heat isnt pleasureable but the cold is harder to deal with for me.

Hi there,

My husband has problems with both heat and cold but in different ways. The cold doesn't seem to have the exhaustion factor near as bad but the pain levels are much worse. I hope you come to some answers soon, please keep us updated.

The cold is really getting to me right now. I am so stiff and sore and really irritable because of it. I can't concentrate too well either because of how I am feeling. My feet feel like they are being squeezed in a vice and are freezing cold as well as part way up my legs to just below the knees.

Less than 2 weeks to go now til my neuro appt.
