I had infection from the surgery

Had 4 hours surgery to stop Colon bleeding. The surgeon cut 80 centimeters from my colon and put a stoma no colon cancer were found. I had infection which lasted three weeks. On an unrelated pain in my leg I had a cat scan on my lower back. It showed one lymph node got enlarged. The primary care physician ordered 3 cat scans on my chest, my abdmen and my pelvis. The scan showed one lymph node in the abdmen enlarged to 1.5 Centimeter and two in my pelvis up to 3.2 centimeter. Some doctors told me that is my body defense against infections and the stoma. However my primary care physician ordered a Biopsy where they cut one lymph node from my pelvis. One doctor is telling me that waste of time and money and will show nothing serious. I hope so I am waiting for the results. My primary care physician is very careful not to leave a stone unturned. I hope I have no cancer.

My surgeon scheduled me for reconnection on February 19. I hope it goes well. I am really terrified from cancer. At the moment I have to wait for 5 hours to get the results of my Biopsy. I feel I am tortured waiting for the unknown. I wish every body well recovery.
