For those of you who had surgery b/c of Crohn's or UC, do you find yourself eating foods now that used to be big no-no's?
For example, I was eating an Asian Thai salad yesterday for lunch that had raw cabbage and carrot slices, spicy chicken, peanuts, and tortilla strips. As I was eating it, I kept thinking about
how badly I would have suffered if I would've eaten something like this before this surgery!
I made sure I chewed everything really well and drank about
6 glasses of green tea, just in case. So far, I haven't had any pain or problems, so I'm really happy!
Are there any foods that you enjoy now that you weren't able to eat before?
I love hearing success stories!
