Wouldn't it be fun to have a "get together"?! I know that is not practicle for cost reasons, but I think it would be a blast to actually talk to folks and hear their voices. Yeh, we have been able to place a name with a face by checking out the pics we all have posted, but actually hearing a voice.... hmmmm. Just my thoughts!

peggy, that would be fun, i finally met one of my best friends in person we have been friends for 6 years on line, and she came here and went on vacation with us, it was a blast.
Next year, we are planning a trip with alot of people from that website. I think it's going to be really fun. It's just gonna be the people from the US though, lol.

It's a nice area. I live on the west side so i'm not really near downtown, more like the woods

Although the whole city is being eaten up by the Asian Beetle. Yikes

I lived near Calgary AB, Canada when I got my ileostomy, now live in North Central BC, Canada. Alberta got to crowded for me rolleyes

My GI guy is in Red Deer , got to say tho he really isn't doing much for me , Lisa the girl that does all his booking for remicade infusions is more help than my GI. He once told me I had fallen threw the cracks in his office this being after he knew I was a sever case of crohn's. I had tried going to Dr. Bridges in Calgary but he seem to be in other clinics on the days of my appointments and would send a med. student to do his work, not what i needed so against better judgement started going to Dr. Simmonds.
Got any good tips on a good Dr there, I don't do the city driving very well LOL but Red Deer I can handle.
