Guys, thank you so much for your advice and suggestions! There are just some foods that I am terrified to try, and popcorn is one of them.
While at the store today I did get a bag of the puffed popcorn-wanna-be stuff. They only had the Cheetos brand, so I got that in Butter...and it was DELICIOUS!!! It did suit my craving...I ate almost the entire bag...now I can't eat dinner.
For my carmel corn craving I get the Fit and Active carmel rice cakes...YUM! My son and I chow down on those too...I think he's really more motivated to chomp his down b/c he gets to take his own piece from the bag.
Anyway, I may try popcorn when I'm at the movies...and then I guess I'll get a child size and drink a huge cup of water or sneak in my own grape juice. Hell...I may sneak in my puffed popcorn just so I can pig out like normal during the movie.
So far I've noticed that a lot of things do pass just fine...I was nervous about lettuce and raw/semi-raw veggies. However, so far I've been good to go! Tomorrow I'm going to have a meal of steamed broccoli and cauliflower...that should be alright, right?
Thanks again for all your responses!!! I have really completely adapted and adjusted to the ileo, so the only fears I have really have to do with foods.
