left pain and nausea

Sounds like it "could" be a partial blockage. Stick to the fluids... even hot tea can help. Heating pad is a good idea. Massage the left area where the pain is and keep moving about. Watch taking any additional imodium or pain killers till this passes. If you throw up and have no output, I mean, NO output, go to the ER. Especiallly if you are throwing up. Keep walking, stand up, sit down, lay down, get up again. Sometimes movement will help things along --- even if it really hurts. Do you have a fever.... don't take it after drinking hot or cold liquids.. wait about 15 minutes after your last drink.

threw up 3 times last night--green bile. Looks like it's a bug or food posioning. The ostomy has been working--dark green liquid and so I feel so awful. The nausea is unbearable tonight. Just took some dramamine and finally took a percoset. There is pain in my left side still and it hurts to the touch to the navel. Been trying to take in liquids and using heating pad. All I've done i sleep and now can't even do that b/c I feel so crappy. Doesn't seem like a blockage but could be partial. Surgeon is not worried but I am. How long is this going to last? I was doing so well.
