i had my surgery on Monday and was supposed to get released this coming friday but suddenly have a fever that keeps going up. it was 98.7 this morning and now is 101.2 even after taking tylenol. my surgeon will be coming by soon so i'll see what she says. im very scared because she said she nicked my intestine when trying to removr the massive scar tissue that had gotten wrapped around my intestine. ill have to explain more to you later if im not so drugged.  this is hard to type when you are on the pain meds. not sure when i'll be going home. they originally said Friday but not so sure now. 

anyway, i just wanted to give you all an update....

ok here's a quick upsate. temperatur got to 104. CT scan showed leaks, was taken to suegery at 2AM, can't figure out where the leaks are coming from. now have 2 jp drains and an NG tube. cant eat or drink anything except ice chips. They are feeding me throgh the iv.

feeling very scared...

oh my gosh Amanda, i'm SO sorry to hear that. i cant believe you're going through a perforation again, i mean the last time was surely enough :(

i hope they are able to take care of it ASAP, i'm so worried about you. i bet you're scared, please stay strong, YOU'RE GONNA MAKE IT!! you know that, right? keeping you in my prayers.

My dear little one....I feel so bad for you and feel your pain. I had those darn drains and that darn nose tube....horrible. I hope they can figure things out. They were able to control mine with the drains and I pray they can do the same with you. They never found my leak....but I had your same symptoms. I am SCARED for you too, but praying hard. Love you....

Update us when you can.

So sorry to hear about your newest surgery, you always have such a difficult time; life is just not fair cry .  Am praying that they will be able to find the leaks and you will soon be feeling better.

thanks everyone for yur prayers and asupport. theu mean a lot to me. still have fever but going dewn some. hospital is great. will probaby be here another week. will keep you updated

NG tubes suk! Ugh and abdominal drains.
I HATE them, but the one thought that got me through all the tubing, was thinking how skinny I'll be when I get out! New wardrobe with new skinny girl jeans!!!
You are going to be so HOT!!!! Once you cool down I mean.

Praying for your quick recovery. Those sound like tough challenges. Wearing skinny jeans will definitely make it worth it.

Amanda--I'm so sorry that happened! I have been in the same boat:( doc's couldn't see the tiny hole...my solution was an ileo until it closed on it's own...three months...My thoughts are with you!

i am praying for you........... how scary.... how are you doing now.. ?? keep us posted as we all care.........

Lord Please be with this lady and heal her body and let her be able to go home soon and also keep her from any further problems down the road. we know your the greatest healer and you can bring her thru this . please give her peace thru this time also and be with her family to help them support her as she needs to be loved and supported right now. Thank you Lord for letting the hosptial staff treat her well and pray they continue to be kind to her. help her with the tube as they are not fun to have in. Thank you Jesus and i ask it in your name. AMEN
