Painful Joints

Does anyone else have painful joints.  I had my surgery in February, and before that my joints always seemed ok, I was very active, running everyday.  Now though it does not take much to make anyone of them ache really painfully.  I am avoiding tylenol and ibuprofene, so I am trying cold and heat.  It makes running and other things like golf not as much fun.  Though I still do it, because I know the psychological benefits outweight all else.  Just wondering if others have had this, and what you guys do.

I also have aching joints and have also been getting lots of iritis (eye probs),as well as high liver readings which I have had for a long time, which they also say is due to the inflamation of crohns disease. I saw my GI the other day and he seems to think in my case its because I still have active disease in my rectum and once that is removed those problems should be sorted so Im off to see my surgeon on Wednesday to get my next surgery booked, but to be sure my GI also has me seeing a Rhuemy tomorrow just in case its arthritis setting in. Cause all these problems have become worse since I had my surgery as well which was only early March and went off all my meds after surgery too. So that could be whats happening with u as well. Im guessing u too are off all meds now? I am also making sure I keep as active as possible even though my joints are aching so much. Opposite for me. I have had joint problems since my 2nd year with UC. Now is the first time in years my ankle isn't swollen.

they always told me to do movement before I got out of bed. I would do circle with my ankles. Just work them out. Stretching helped, I guess to get the blood flowing. I was not really an active person to begin with so these were to just walk around the house.
