But, did everyone have a good day today???

It was a rainy day here in Atlanta, so my wonderful wife and I spent the day watching old horror movies. 

How 'bout you guys and gals? 

BTW, Church Lady, Shaz,  and Summerstorm, I love you more than you can imagine ( and many others that are too long to list!)...I owe you a great big BEAR HUG!!!

I had a good day yesterday, too. Made a big pot of chicken and rice soup and brought it to my mom, who is sick with pneumonia. She's been on antibiotics for almost a week and is getting better. We had a nice time sitting on the sofa and chatting.

That sounds like fun shocked :-)

I had a fun weekend...started at 3am on Saturday when I left for a horse show :-) Nice weather in Ohio and my daughter had a GREAT day, all BLUE Ribbons smurf

Once I woke up on Sunday, I took my puppy for a nice long walk!!! She is still learning how to not pull, so it was a LONG 3 miles, but so relaxing turn

We are having the best Nov. weather I can remember in Canada! Go on lots of walks still without worrying about ice. I'm just adding more layers as it gets colder, but the sky is so blue it's perfection.

I ate some Chinese food for the first time since surgery this weekend and nothing bad happened. I might have to try that again soon...

Gosh- sounds like so many of us had great weekends. Vett Guy- I love rainy weather and horror movies. Here in South Florida it was in the low 80's but definitely tolerable.

My hubbie and I started taking down Christmas decorations from attic. His b- day was yesterday so I cooked his favorite dinner and my daughters and I baked him a cake.

A really nice weekend...

Hmm i had a busy weekend, and a slightly annoying one, taking a husband and a 4 year shopping an hour and half away for 4 hours is not reccomended. Just incase you were thiinking of doing it, lol. Although i did get to eat at sticky fingers last night, which makes it all worth it! If there isnt one near you, its a rib place, and OMG they are sooo good!
Anyway, yw vetteguy, and love you too and big hug back!

Good idea to post a how you doing thread, that we can tell each other about out our lives instead of just problems all the time!

My mom is doing so much better! Thanks for asking. :-) She went through two rounds of antibiotics and it worked.

I remember back in college when I was trying to get out of a test that I didn't fully prepare for.....

I had this "brilliant" idea of trying to catch a cold so I could go to the college infirmary the next day.  I took a shower, kept my window open (with my hair still wet, in upstate NY, in the winter) and.......you probably guessed it......caught pneumonia!!!

Not only did I get out of the test....I missed the rest of the semester and had to recover at home on Long Island.  Obviously I wasn't as brilliant as I thought!

PS-'Glad to hear your mother is well!!!
