So I was just changing my bag for the night and I had a little bm while changing. The BM fell on the floor and I said 'oops I have a poopy on the floor.' and my dog, Chester, who was sleeping in the other room jumps up and runs in and eats it off the floor before I can pick it up. Then he just looks at me like he wants more. I just started laughing and told him he isn't sleeping near me tonight. I thought this might cheer up someones day.

GROSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! I can see why you are not going to let Chester sleep near you tonight. Auuuuuuuugh. Yes this did give me a belly laugh. My bag is jiggling up and down just thinking about this. We do have to keep our sense of humor, don't we? Glad you still have yours and I still have mine :-) EsoR

Yep, I cage both of my Cavaliers when I am changing my son's. Have had a similar experience. GROSS !!

lol...since im still a newbie (surgery was Nov.23) my Pug's don't understand why im now closing the washroom door.

A friend of mine had a similar story. As she was changing, her stoma decided to spurt all over the cat. It ran from the room in fright (as you would!) but came back 1/2 hour later perfectly clean. She just tried not to think about how it got all nice and clean again! lol

Ha Ha...how important it is that we can laugh at these things. We used to have a lab that ate her own poop but this is even grosser!

Well i thought this was gross, until i went to take my trash to the dump today and discovered something had dug through our trash, which happens all the time, but this has never happened, something got into one of the bagswith my old bags in it and ATE IT!!! EWWWWW

Don't know why I didn't read this one sooner!! LOL......OK you win the gross award of the week, not wait month. NO dog will EVER lick my face either!!!! Love them dearly but no!!!!! Too gross for more words.

i never let them lick my face anyway, but sometimes you see people who let them lick their mouths, and give them "kisses" and i almost throw up!

Ok, i'll be rethinking letting a dog lick me in the face. BUT this reminds me of something that happened a couple of weeks ago. I was at this high end "pet" store. It only had stuff for dogs, so I use the term pet store loosely. Anyway, a friend of mine comes in with her pekingnese, trying to find out if they can alter this frou frou dress to fit the dog. Anyway, I let the dog lick me in the face (NOT the mouth), and her owner was having a fit that a nurse of all people would let a dog lick her in the face. I should know the germs dogs carry!! and carried on for about 5 minutes. I said that's why you wash your hands etc, to get rid of the germs!!

When our old dog would see poop outside he'd roll in it and man did he stink....

we used to have this dog, stupidest dog ever. On the way to our house, it jumped out of the window of the car the people were driving it over in, andbroke its front leg! see stupid dog!
Anyway, our animals all run free, and we live near a cow pasture. And that stupid dog would go up there and roll in cow patties. And it was sooo nasty!

These stories are hilarious! tongue I used to have a miniature dachshund that would rub her face on dead fish at the beach. It was disgusting and so hard to get the stink off of her! (She would also hump stuffed animals, but that's a whole other topic!)

My Pug's will disapear downstairs only to come back up a few minutes later with kitty litter stuck to their noses and eyelashes!! So gross. They use the litter box as their own personal candy shop. Ick.

I havent posted here for a while, but when I read this thread, I knew this was really the onlyplace I could share this and have others think it was funny. I was outside cleaning up dog poop from two dogs over a two week period, in our little stamp pad of a yard. Our puppy kept knocking over the poop bucket, so I put him inside. So while I was outside cleaning up his poo, he went through my garbage and found the recently changed ostomy supplies and well you know the rest...rotten dog, it is a good thing he is cute...

When I had a bag, at least once a week while sleeping my bag would leak all over my bed. My hubby and I used to call the cleaning of the sheets, mattress, and, comforter, our "Date Night." Because we both had to wake up and spend an hour working together to get the bed back in order. However, some nights I would sleep so hard that the poop would not wake me, but the dogs licking my legs would.....EWWWWW!!!! Then I would have to wash the dogs too....GRRR! After that, I decided to let the dogs sleep in another room.

It happened. Five minutes ago I had a leak and was changing the skin barrier/pouch over the toilet and oscar decided to give me a nugget of goodness. It fell on the floor and my Pug ran into the washroom and ate it up. OMG...my husband and I are now looking at each other like "Um, now what???" LOL.
