Hi Everyone, I haven't been on this site for a couple of weeks because I have been very ill! I am going to try to go back and read all the new posts soon. I really hope to find that many of you have improved and are feeling much better. Lizzie I really want to get updated on you; I just want you to start feeling better!
My question for everyone: I didn't mention this in earlier posts but ever since my sub-total colectomy back in April '09 I often feel really, really cold! I live in San Diego and it can be 78 degrees and I walk around with a long-sleeved shirt and 2 coats! Prior to this surgery I almost always felt very comfortable; my body temperature just seemed to regulate itself. Now for the last 10 months I am often "freezing." It feels like someone filled me up with an icy slush and it is running thru my veins!!! I am not kidding, this is a very weird symptom. I am trying low dose iron (just started) altho the blood tests don't show me to be anemic. The doctors don't know what the problem is! Also, I am still having problems with chronic diarrhea and feeling weak. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Gilda
