The doctors just rounded and they said I can go home! I am so excited. It's been a week since I've seen my kids and Thursday since I've seen my husband. We are never apart like that and I think that has been the hardest part of this whole thing. Can't wait to be home!

Yea!!!! Take it easy and no picking up your baby! I bet you'll be cuddling a lot, though.

Yes, they said I can hold him if someone puts him on me, but it will be awhile before I can pick him up by myself. No hernias for me!

So happy for you! Remember to take it easy. It is so tempting to want to get back into old routines as soon as you get home, but you can't and need to rest a lot.

Absolutely take it as easy as you can. I hope you have some family or friends who can give you a helping hand. If your hubby is a great house husband then maybe you won't need the help. If I were the one recovering from this...I would need help definitely as my husband is not much help at all which is so totally my fault for these past 42 years! lol

Congrats. Enjoy those babies, but take it easy. Take advantage of folks waiting on you while you can !

My husband does more around the house than I do normally, so it will be ok. He will home with me for two more weeks, then my mother in law is coming for a week, and then my sister will come during the day for a couple of weeks. Lots of help lined up.

Man it took forever to actually get out of there! The ET nurses were really backed up so we waited for one for hours. Now we are on the road though and I'm quite happy.
