OK, so I got a job that I really like, but the health insurance really sucks. Ostomy supplies are covered after a
$3500 deductible.
So, my question is, where can I get good ostomy supplies for cheap, since it is going to be out of my pocket?
Also, has anyone tried the Genairex brand? It looks like it would be less expensive if it works.
Please let me know of any good online places to shop. I don't think I will be able to afford Edgepark any more.
THANKS!!!
-Eric
The health care system (esp insurance) in this country is broken and needs to be fixed.

Okay, so I had a sample Generex that I happened to remember was in my other samples. I put it on last night, and it started leaking at work today right after lunch.
Surely there is a decently priced appliance out there somewhere.

Try www.medicalmega.com They don't accept insurance so they can be REALLY cheap
I buy anything that my insurance won't cover there!

Thanks! I will check out the site.
It looks like one-piece systems are less expensive than two-piece. Also, I am going to try waterproof surgical tape instead of Sure Seals - if that works it will be cheaper.
Feels like I am starting over again.
