wafer won't stick

I am having problem with my wafer not sticking again. I use the Hollister extended wear wafer with the adapt rings. It just seems that output seeps under the ring more lately. I am changing wafer every day or every other day.

I keep my supplies in a box in my bathroom and I haven't had a humidity problem so far but I live in Mississippi and the summers get hot hear. I was wondering if the temperature of my house could be causing the rings to maybe not hold as well. We do not use the air when we are not here. (I used to keep my Sally Hansen wax strips in the freezer because the humidity at my old house would make them sticky.)

Also I am trying to eat more fruits, veggies and whole grains and my output is really think. It seems like this could be causing the output to seep under the ring and wafer also. I just seems the thinker the output the more I have to change wafers. I

Try a different brand...I had issues with Hollister:(

     I had problems with Hollister too.   I deal with Edgepark for my supplies.  If you call them, ask if they could send you a few samples of the Coloplast one piece Sensura bags.  I've been using them for several months now and love them!  I have no skin issues under the wafer.  In the beginning I had some irritation and my surgeon gave me Nystop to use and it cleared up.   I change my appliance twice a week.  So far, so good .

I'm in NE MS. about an hour from Tupelo and Oxford. Had my surgery Nov. 1. Been doing great since. Glad to get rid of UC.

Update: I am still wearing the same wafer from last week without the rings or paste. about to change tonight. My skin hasn't been burning or seem irritated. I did use the no sting spray before applying the wafer and it did seem to give a little stickiness to the skin. Maybe this is my solution for now. No caulking.
