You will do great! The surgery itself is SO much less than what you have already been through.
It is helpful to have flushable disposable wipes with you....they are SO much easier on the "behind" than toilet paper. The hospital should give you a barrier cream and make sure you use it after EVERY trip to the loo. At the beginning expect to be making frequent trips to the bathroom but as soon as you start to eat again it will start to slow down and become less acidy.
As with the other surgeries make sure that you GET UP AND WALK until you are sick of it....it is the best thing that you can do.
I cannot tell you how well Dillon is doing......you will get there soon!
