Please Help me! I am 28 yrs old I started having issues with BMs a few yrs back. In Feb 2010 after 8 wks of no Bm I had a colectomy (all lrg out) I had a torturous redundant mega colon, I have Iga Deficiency, I was having severe diareah for a yr or so then I got bad thrombosis hemmroids and fishers (sp?). I had to get Botox in my rectum to heal the fisher againt my will it was only option I was given, Ive lost 120 lbs since April of 2011 (it is Dec 2011) My previous surgion said I meed ileostomy marked me for it now isnt returning calls or anything. I went to local er they treated like I was just constipated. I cant eat or drink it hurts so bad. Im distended I pass some gas on occasion but the pain is immense with fishers and hanging out hemmroids again. NOTHING HELPS the drs had me on tons of laxatives before with no avail enemas dont work bowel preps dont work my wbc count is climbing at 108000 now. and my liver and kidney blood works is starting to show that perhaps I have something more going on. When anything passes it is very very small amounts of just the liquid I have drank and it is foamy floating and black! I have constant pain, pressure in my vaginal area now too from being so full I think. I am dehydrated, eyes sunken in and out of no where have fat on my liver (didnt have when overweight). I am scared to death something is happening and NO ONE is listening to me! I have bowel sounds VERY VERY LOUD ones. I have dry mouth and really bad breath even right after I brush. Please help I dont know what to do or how to make someone listen!

I also suffer from Chronic MRSA infections. Drs said I had Colonic inertia and pelvic floor dysfunction .. I did the therpy .. NOTHING it didnt help. I have severe anxiety and I am doubting all the drs now! never get answers just your dehydrated and pass off to a GI but the new GI says nothing until after Jan 15th .. I cant wait that long ..

I am so sorry that you are suffering.

Can you go to the hospital and demand the a gastrologist examine you? You need to be seen by him before christmas. Please keep us updated on your condition.

Take a loved one with you when go to the ER. It helps to have a spokesperson.

Gosh i am sorry to hear of your suffering this does sound like an emergency to me.

I am wondering if there is an obstruction going on with  you?  But dont quote me as i am not a dr just with your bad breath and loud bowel sounds... etc. Symptoms include pain, bloating and vomiting, constipation/diarrhea.  tummy will also be tender to touch.

 If so, you really do need someone to look at you asap!! How can you get their attentinon? Go to A and E or ER - ASK for them to give you xray and CT scan.  

I dont know much about fistulas but know they are very painful and always need surgery.

i do hope it is not the above but please keep us posted.

Are you near any teaching hospitals? Your situation sounds complicated enough that you need that level of expertise.

Hope you find some relief soon -- sounds horrible. Keep us posted.

You need to see a colorectal surgeon in a metropolitan area. What state do you live in?

You need to see a Doctor ASAP 9 weeks no bm....that is dangerous...I have colon inertia and pelvic floor dysfunction I have had a loop ileostomy since nov of last year it is the best thin i ever did. The only thing I wish I would have insisted on was to just take out my whole colon out. I have diverting colitis now so I am hoping to turn my loop into a permanant 1 in January. You need to see someone soon. I pray you get some answers soon DEBBI
