Beanie: while you are waiting to get into a nutritionist, you might find it helpful to use some of the free websites to track your calorie intake versus exercise burn, etc. Dailyplate is a good one. You want a calorie deficit, but not too large of one, etc. Before Weight Watchers I was running but never making progress with my weight. Turns out I was overestimating how many calories I burned working out and was eating too much. I justified my eating by telling myself I had worked out so it would be fine. Now I know just how much work it takes to burn off an order of fries or a slice of cake!
