Makes ya wonder huh? Very, very scary too! Certain doctors aren't the only nitwits around either. My surgeon sent me for an MRI of the pelvic area and stomach because I was having post op bleeding from the vagina. I knew I went to the wrong imaging center right from the get-go when the tech kept me under that dome with my arms extended over my head for an hour and a half and then said to me.."Did you move?" UGH...."NO, I didn't move and I think I am paralized!" Sheesh! OK...they bring me out of the dome and I am sooo relieved only to find out that was just the pelvic area and they had yet to put the dye into my veins . Two techs and neither one could find a vein. I told them..."Forget it, I just want outta here." The MRI of my stomach was never done.
You know what report my surgeon received? It said, "Inconclusive results. Recommend an ultrasound of the rectum." My surgeon said, "How can they do an ultrasound of your rectum if you have no rectum?" I rest my case.
