I have read some your post on the CD board too. Your fistula problem sounds alot like mine. I am so excited about getting rid of them by having my colon taken out but it sounds like its not that simple, is it always that hard for these things to heal even after the surgery? Mine are pretty bad, but i guess i will have to see what the surgen says thursday. this is probably to personal, but i'll ask anyway, (im used to the CD board, anything goes there, haha, ) Do you have pictures of what your fistulas looked like? I am wondering if mine are like yours. I have pic's of mine, no one knows it except my bestfriend, I knew people would think i was crazy or nasty for taking pic's of my butt, but it has nothing to do with being perverted.

I have been so busy at work and we are still in the dark ages at home and don't have a computer yet. I see you posted a month ago. Man life has been crazy..

anyway, no, unfortunately I don't have posession of any pictures of my fistulas, I wouldn't be suprised if some of the ones out there ended up in the New England Journal of Medicine.

what did the surgeon say, I guess last month now?

I had really bad fistula disease and after the total colectomy I had one remaining old fistula trac that they called a chronic open wound when it didn't originate from my rectum anymore. (If that made any sense)
