Hi, everybody! I haven't posted anything in awhile, but have been keeping up with reading everyone else's posts... I have been doing really well with my jpouch since takedown. It's been 6 weeks today, and I've had some normal ups and downs, but overall I am very glad to have gone through with the surgeries.
Anyway, what I really wanted to share was a funny experience I had today, hopefully it will make a few of you chuckle. 
A couple of friends and I decided to dye our hair using henna; one of the friends has done it several times with good results. It was my first time. When we mixed up the dye, I almost laughed out loud- the gunk looked almost identical to the output I used to have with my ostomy! I know it sounds silly, but I just couldn't get over how similar it looked. 
Finally someone else said, "It looks like baby poop!", and I just had to tell them what I thought it looked like (they all knew about my surgeries and all they entailed.) We definitely had a good laugh while putting it on our hair!
