So, does that mean your colon is attached right to your anal canal? I don't think I've heard of that situation before, so not sure how it works with urgency, frequency, etc. I'd imagine in some regards it would be similar to a j-pouch in that the colon would take a while to learn that it is the new "end-point" and frequency/urgency would get better over time... but having your colon in tact means that your system still has time to absorb additional fluids and finish digesting things with bacteria... My guess would be that the butt burn issue wouldn't be as bad as someone with a J-pouch, but that's just me speculating.
