Christine and Kcookie - Thanks for your messages. I have my first surgery consult tomorrow so I feel I will have a better idea of what to expect after that. At least, I hope I do. Though after talking to all of you and from reading about the surgery it does seem that I already know everything that the surgery entails.

Christine - my colon is also behaving better just knowing that I have scheduled surgery consults. But, you can never trust these sneaky ******s!!!

UCWarrior: this phenomenon that the colon suddelny starts behaving itself and producing nice poos withought blood or cramps as soon as you schedule surgery has been experienced by many, many people here. It happened to me as well. It convinced me even further that my colon was a psycho killer and was just trying to charm me out of executing it.
