has anyone tried the cavilon spray for protection of intact skin?

 I sometimes use the cavilon spray for sore broken skin but have just seen a  Purple cavilon spray on 3m site  its for Protection of intact skin has anyone tried this and is it any good?

Generally less is more is the best philosophy. So why would you need this if your skin was ok?

 Thanks for your replies. I sometmes get sore skin around the base of the stoma and use the blue one when this happens but was wondering if I used the purple spray each time I change the bag when the skin is ok maybe it would help protect the skin from breaking down again x

Absolutely! I have been using the tincture for several years with never a blowout. I have the tincture in a bottle. It is available in Canada but not in the US. The swabs are available in the US. The swabs use the same ingredients. When you remove your wafer it leaves the skin clean. No sticky residue. I shave with an electric mustache trimmer before I clean the area. Clean with water and paper towel only. No soap or anything else. Dry with hair dryer. Apply tincture. Dry with hair dryer. Apply wafer. If you have open skin it will sting. The tincture helps to heal. The swabs are available from Edgepark.....800 321 0591. The tincture is waterproof. If you get it on anything else it can only be removed with alcohol.
