Could you please tell me what tests were performed to diagnose that your rectal stump had adhered to your vaginal wall? I have a bit of a concern because the day I came home from the hospital I felt like I had to urinate and all this foul smelling gunk came out of me. Till this day, four years later, no one seems to know exactly what happened! I had vaginal bleeding off and on ever since (over twenty years past menopause). However, I have had three transvaginal ultrasounds since, PAP tests, etc...all negative. My gyn said my cervix wall is very thin which could be the reason. All other tests, CT scans, MRI's...all negative, so guess everything is ok. I do believe people with Crohn's/Colitis have more problems with anal stumps than do we with only UC.
