Forgot to mention that popping some immodium about
30 minites before a meal can significantly reduce transit time. I pop 3 thirty minutes before breakfast and that always buys me about
5 hours of complete quiet (I then have up to a few more hours before I "need" to empty for sake of comfort and aesthetics in tighter clothes- and no need at all physiologically). I like that when I go play tennis or bike for a few hours in the morning, knowing i am not going to feel even the slightest bulge for about
that long. Without a colon, immodium is a very benign OTc thing to try, and its use is not associated with D or anything nor with any risk of constipation in this usage, but rather is simply a transit time modulator. (Of course, if you ever have blockage issues, dont use it). So if you have transit time issues, you can try a couple immodiums half an hour before each meal say. Up to 8 a day is fine without a colon. Not that having an ostomy requires it-- it's just a way to spread out emptying a bit more and reduce your emptying frequency-- eg if you are 8 times a day due to high transit, this may get you down to 4-5, which of course is much less than the average normie pees oer day anyway.
