I have a small clear ziploc bag with 2 pouches, wafers, eakin seals, a tiny travel bottle of M9, a few napkins, and a disposal bag or two that I carry around in my manpurse (knapsack) or briefcase or computer case or whatever, and a larger gallon ziploc with about
6 of each that i also carry in carry on luggage when i am travelling for trips up to 2 weeks long (way more changes than I would do in that period but it is for piece of mind), and inlcuding a larger travel bottle with m9 juice. If i was travelling for 3 weeks or more i'd pack some more in my checked luggage too. The little bag i take on the go is paperlight and very compact. Oh, in the snall bag I do carry my Equalizer thingie that helos me apply even pressure around the flange when I change.
I try and get in the habit if carrying a couole extra ziploc bags to put a disposed pouch in because there are occasions where i find it more convenient to replace my pouch filled with poop with a new pouch rather than empty the pouch... Eg if one is hiking say in a place without toilets. i dont mountain climb like Blueheron but this is one of the many fantastic things about
two piece pouch setups that I think make them a homerun vs one piece- one accumulates so many extra pouches that one can always repkace the whole pouch in seconds if emptying it is not convenient. I have done this with zero mess using my hollister- it takes some practice to get the touch to do it in seconds though.
re mirrors - have not needed a mirror since a week out of surgery. i dont get why anyone needs a mirror.
