Haha, Stripey I bet I read your solution for the bag elsewhere, I'm sure I didn't come up with it on my own! So this morning, I changed the wafer which I hadn't done since Thursday. One week plus without a blowout, yay! However -- somehow I'm back to thick output; the last couple of days, having a bag with a filter (blocked or not), all the contents vacuumed up tight inside... ugh!!! I spend half my evenings (and night time!) in the bathroom, trying to unstick things. I thought the wine worked really well, but as my husband is on this 30-days-without-alcohol routine, I don't want to drink in front of him. So I'll go back to juice, and actually try a coffee after dinner -- but not until Friday night in case I can't get to sleep!
This time I was using a Flextend wafer for the first time, which may have helped things also. I changed everything out this morning and used another Flextend, this time a pre-cut one, and with a smaller diameter flange. I hope this will be more comfortable as well as stronger. I ran out of the Adapt rings (I've ordered more) so I used the Adapt paste; I don't think it's any worse than the rings, it's just a little more time-consuming while getting stuff ready, that's all. But my husband is a sweetheart and helps me do this in the mornings; that way we can get out the door faster.
