September 2005, I had my entire large intestine removed due to slow transit colon. In which I ended up with an ostomy and PIC Line. In December, 2005, I had a reversal. Here it is ten years later, now I make 10 and 20 trips to the bathroom daily and it looks like fizz in the toilet. I cannot sit at a desk all day without going to the bathroom for the most part of the day. When I go shopping, I have to know where the bathrooms are at all times. Has anyone have similar issues after a colostomy?

I had my entire large intestine removed when I was 12 and had an ileostomy for about a year and half after that. Before I got sick again in '99, I can remember spending a lot of time in the bathroom after the reversal. Did they reattach things directly to your anus? If so, that's gonna have you in the bathroom a lot as there's no reservoir like when you had a rectum.
