Urostomy anyone? Where do I find that?

I am trying to figure out where to look to find people with a Urostomy. Don't think I've seen it on this forum, but figured I'd try, and if not, does anyone know if there are people with a Urostomy anywhere on healing well (or have another website to recommend)?

Problem is, I've had 6 UTI's (some bladder infections and a few kidney infections)(currently have a kidney infxn). No one seems to know why. Mostly different bacteria each time, some very unknown to doctors. I have probably averaged 2 bladder infections a year over the past 8 years--since I started cathing thru my stoma. Now having 6 in about 8-9 months is unbelievable!!

I see my urologist next week to try to figure out why this is happening. But i'd really like to be able to talk to someone w/ a Urostomy.

Having some trouble writing this and I know I have repeated myself. When I get an infection I tend to have confusion / a very foggy brain along with it.

Every once in a while I read the forums on the United Ostomy Association of America website, and have seen some folks there talking about urostomies. I'm sure you would get some responses if you posted there. They have many forums, but here is the link to the general ostomy discussion. Good luck!
