Don't listen to that NiceCupOfTea person. Many foods are not soluble and can not be digested. Mushrooms, clams, anything with a skin such as beans, peas, corn or nuts, popcorn or the like. And yes, chew everything to death.

I could eat virtually everything you listed and have no issues. I also tried chewing something to death one day and found it so boring and unpleasant, I don't think I tried it again after that. It's not necessary, as these somewhat gruesome experiments show:
