Nystatin Powder

I used it for thrush after an intense treatment with antibiotics and it worked really well. I ended up having to take diflucan regardless because the infection was way beyond the throat. I was taking double strength tablets, multiple pills, multiple times a day for months. I needed something heavy duty to wipe it out. I would think it should help for what you describe. If it seems more systemic you should get the pills - you have been on a lot of antibiotics...

I've used it as well. Easy, painless, and it worked pretty quickly if I remember.

I'll have to see about an oral med as well. I just put on the Nystatin for the first time this morning and crusted it pretty well. Should I change my bag more often for powder application now?

I'm changing over to a different appliance to make sure that doesn't have anything to do with my skin. I'm using the ConvaTec moldable currently and I'm going to a Hollister Convex precut two piece and see how that goes. My nurse is trying to get oral meds
