Hi, I used to have a case of UC, and got a total colectomy. It's been over a year since the ostomy takedown, and I was wondering if anyone has taken creatine supplements after their colectomy, and how it treated them. THanks

I don't know about after surgery, I would imagine if you took it prior to there shouldn't be any real difference. I used to take it prior to surgery but had to stop as it was slowing my kidney functions.

I have taken it with no issues, I just make sure I am always keeping hydrated. Took it with the ostomy and the jpouch.

I would skip the loading phase as when I started to do a loading phase, it sped up output so I went right to maintenance and had no issues.
