Illesotomy pain

I checked the wrong problem so maybe can still get answer.

Had surgery 4 months ago. Urination pain started about 2 months after Illesotomy. It's getting worse, severe pain, with temp. Doc keeps saying it's chronic constipation. She prescribed mess for it. I followed faithfully. A month later pain is so severe I go to bed with pain pill, wake up, now at 4am, pain so bad can hardly stand up straight. I know my own body. I'm intelligent and have common sense. I know something is wrong. This should be getting better not worse, right?

I'm no doctor or nurse but my first thought would be a bladder or urinary tract infection. Maybe there's some scar tissue causing issues. It all depends on where the pain is and what causes it, i.e., only during urination or the sensation to urinate. If constant and near the pelvic area, maybe have the appendix checked. Again, I'm not a doctor or nurse or have any medical training at all, so I'm just grasping at straws here. You're right in thinking something is wrong, especially when there's a fever involved. Might be time to have an ultrasound or other type of imagining done to see what's happening inside. Or even a second opinion from another doctor.
