I had rectum removed on May 24th and it is still difficult to sit for any length of time. Any one else have this problem for that long?

I had problems for a while, i found it best to sit on a cushy pillow, not a donut, but like a regular pillow. But mine didn't hurt that long, it itched worse than anything, but everyone heals at a different pace
Hope you feel better soon!

may 24? that's not even two months ago! don't be concerned yet. i had bad butt pains for about
4 months afterwards, and here i am almost 7months afterwards and the soreness still isn't completely gone. i wouldn't be too worried yet!

I had my surgery in April. I had radiation to my rear before hand and it damged the skin so bad the stiches wouldn't hold so I was told it could take up to 6 months, plus it bleeds and drains. Ouch!
