should i be worried?

Hi,i had an ileostomy on May first and now that the numbness is leaving my incision area i have noticed what i believe is a staple beneath the skin.I could really feel it but have noticed that it has moved,i can still feel it but barely.I don't see my surgeon until October and believe he is on vacation.My question is shoud i be worried or could it wait till oct.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.

I had the same problem shortly after my surgery as well. I wouldn't worry too much about it. The only thing is that it might hurt a little when the doc has to remove it. However, you be the judge. 3 months is a long time to wait if it's weghing on your mind.
