Pouch use X? and Stoma Paste

Can anyone tell me how many times I could reasonaby expect to use the same pouch (Holister 2 piece) befor the "tupperware seal gives out? I get 4-6 days out of the wafer.
I use bag liners so no feces ever gets to the bag itself.

Also, I find my tube of stoma paste dries out before I can use it all, any hints on keeping it supple?

Some people put a little water in the bottom of the tube to keep the paste moist. I've tried it and sometimes it helps though not always. Would certainly be helpful if they could solve that problem at the manufacturer's!

I don't do 2 piece but in regards to the paste--what brand are you using? One I tried had the same problem but now I use adapt paste and its been great.

I have been using the paste made by Hollister. I'll try the Adapt paste next , thanks

I use Convatec products - their stomahesive paste works well for me. Been using the same products since 1984.
