It will be a year in November that I had a total colectomy. The doctor saved a little of my colon so I wouldn't have to have a bag. I had a few complications from the surgery and ended up staying in the hospital for a month!! I still have chronic pain and Pain Management is what the doctors are telling me to use. I have had seven, yup, 7!!!! surgeries and I will be 28 on Tuesday. I haven't been able to hold a job because I get these stomach attacks so painful, I end up in the ER with no insurance. Now they are trying pain pills and may opt to stick needles in my spine that covers the abdomen area to stop the pain. I have been deeply depressed, have no energy, cry all the time, and still have trouble going to the bathroom!! I've had my appendix removed, gallbladder removed, and lots of laps. I don't want anymore surgeries, but I can't take the pain. It's unbearable!!! Is there anyone out there who has the same symptoms and problems? I feel like doctors don't know what to do with me anymore. It's very sad and consumes my life. Any advice? Please!!
