I just posted some pics of me when I was 3 weeks post-op. I am wearing my jeans so you can see that YOU CAN DO IT. I am also wearing a bathingsuit in another shot.

Very cutsie Amie, especially at 3 weeks post - op. Not all of us can do that. Most of us were just getting out of bed. We are perky aren't we?

summerstorm - you go girl!!!!!!!!! You look beautiful! Takes guts, or lack of them to show what is realistic achievements (and you did so very remarkably) ... and you made me feel like I am there - and pretty ... thank you! SHOW YOUR FACE!

I can slightly see your bright smile in that picture....I bet you look beautiful and happy. You do not have to crop your photos in here.. I would love to see the rest of that smile in the photo!

peggy, i cut my face out of that pic, because i had been at the beach all day, and my hair was all crazified and i looked like a slob!

I finally got brave yeah and posted a couple of pics of me:

  me and my hubby in one of them

  me by myself in Arizona on vacation

  me with my 1/2 siblings at a family reunion this summer (20 lbs heavier than the     other 2 photos!)

I just realized that we haven't taken many photos of each other this summer, except for the crazy ones at the Nascar races!  We have been taking a lot of pics of our house we are building - well, I guess, I have been taking all of the pics. 

I also noticed that most of my pics, when we are out and about or on the motorcyle that have me in them, I am wearing my leather fanny pack.  I use it a lot when I want my hands free to take photos or whatever.  I guess it is a great disguise for the pouch too!!!  Never really thought about it.  There ya go - a hint for the newbies who are a little self confident about the pouch showing....  tongue

there is a pic of me on page 4, of my face at least, lol. And i just put up my pics from the party, so everyone can see the infamous dress! I did fix that strap that is hanging out! i had no idea it was like that in the pics, lol. And i really am not as fat as that dress makes me look!  the pics went in long ways so you will have to rotate them, cause i don't know want to post them twice, grrr
peggy you are so cute, you look just like my aunt peggy! in my head that is how i always pictured you anyway, lol

summer --- what a beautiful dress, shoes, necklace! You sure must have been one of the prettiest at the big event. Isn't it amazing what we look like when we "clean up"?! And you don't look fat to me - get over it girl!

isn't it a hoot when you here a name, talk to someone, and then finally get to see a picture of them or meet them in person? I'm glad I lived up to your vision of "aunt Peggy". Is she a Margaret or Peggy?

you know i dont' know, isnt' that awful? she isn't really my aunt either, she is my cousin i think, we have this thing in my family where if a female family member is more than about 15 years older that us, we call them aunt, and the same for male members.
i think it's odd too, because sometimes a person looks so diff than what you expect!

I too, got very brave and uploaded a pic. Not a very good one since I'm hunched over my abdomen, I still had the wound vac at that time, so it's hiding behind me...you can see the tubing on the right. I'm off all the nasty prednisone now so my cheeks have slimmed down, but only my cheeks.

I love the picture pages, be brave!

Crohned....You are Lovely...Absolutely Lovely! What a sweet photograph. What type of plant is that next to you. The blossoms are very pretty.

Thank You Amey!  It's a honeysuckle plant.  The hummingbirds go bananas over it, and that is why I planted it in the front.  They are fun to watch.
