Believe it or not, I have a gastro-intestinal related question about the movie. I won't give anything away in case some of you plan on seeing it. However, due to the shaky camera throughout the movie my wife is in bed, literally sick to her stomach. 'First time a movie ever actually gave her vertigo! Did anyone else here get sick after watching it??? I read online that a lot of people have. It was a really good movie though.

I just checked it out on the web and I can tell you that I would be in the same boat as your wife... it would just plain give me a headache. I am glad that you liked it...

i get that way from certain video games my brother had. I really like that 007 but it makes me sick when i see it on tv :O(

I felt that way after seeing Blair Witch Project which was filmed the same way, but I was pregnant at the time and wondered if that had anything to do with it.  So your wife is sick, huh.....hmmmm

Blair Witch project did the same to me and I wasn't pregnant, and so did that game 007 when my brother played it too, I'm definitely NOT going to see cloverfield!

Yep, I went and saw it with DH. I get motion sickness really bad. I had to put my head against his shoulder and keep my eyes closed the whole time so I wouldn't get sick.

I would have left but DH wanted to see it and the camera jerking around like that doesn't bother him.

The effects shouldn't be long lasting. Your wife should be feeling better soon.

There has been news reports about this movie making ppl sick.

I didnt get sick while watching it, but it did say that it was like the Blair Witch meets Godzilla! lol
