I just learned to spell ileostomy correctly.lol Anyway I think I've come across another tip. Take your hair dryer, set it on low and dry the skin thoroughly around your stoma before attaching the wafer(doing better on that spelling too.) After applying the wafer continue to dry the wafer on low. Maybe the durn thing will stick better that way---who knows?

Jennie,

One of my hair dryer tips .... I dry around my pouch/wafer after showering. I just lay it on the counter on the hand towel and let it do it's thing while I am applying lotions or whatever. Just aim it in the right direction and multi-task!
