Y'know how some things just don't apply to us anymore? Well, my husband was saying to himself "milk, milk need some milk" while in the kitchen. This reminded me of that little saying "milk, milk lemonade around the corner fudge is made" and being the mature person I am chanted that to him. He just stops and says "y'know really, for you, the fudge is no longer made around the corner but just up the street." Well, the truth and oddity of his statement just made me laugh. I also can no longer pull answers out of my @$$ and no one can tell me to shove anything up there either! Just struck me as funny...

I remember when we were teenagers and we were referring to something we didn't want or need, we'd say "I need that as much as I need an extra ***hole!" Okay, I'll admit it. We weren't exactly alterboys growing up!

We all need humor to make it day to day. That rhyme was cute. When life gives us lemons , we can always make some lemonade!! Keep the faith.

As kids, we would point to our body parts when we sang that song. Get it? Milk, milk, lemonade, around the corner fudge is made! :-)

i love the up the street part, that is too funny
the guys i work with are very mature (lol) and are always saying things like, stick it up your butt, or what do you have stuck up your butt they say it jokingly of course, but it is all i can do to not bust out laughing and tell them, i don't even have a butt anymore!
