red things are BAD!!!

i got ready to get in the shower today, and i took my underwear off, of course, and looked down to see if my pouch was still sticking well.  And i was horrified to see that all around the medical tape and the top of my pouch were these horrible ring lines, it looked like sores and scratches all over me. I was thinking, Oh No what am i gonna do???  and so i pulled the medical tape off, waiting for the horrible pain, and was really suprised when it didn't hurt, and i was thinkign this is weird.  So i rub my fingers over it, and it still doesn't hurt.  And i can't figure out what this could be.  i was freaking out, thinking it was some kind of weird sores.  Well, then it occured to me that maybe it was lint off my undies cause sometimes that will get on the bandaid part.  But i had had on black undies and that didnt' make any sense, so i am still freakign out.  All of a sudden, like five minutes after this started, i remembered that i had had on a pair of red undies this morning, but i spilled some drink on my pants and my pants and my undies were wet so i just changed them!
i felt so stupid!

there should be a warning in the little booklet thing they give you when you get info about ileos, that says something to the effect that red things can cause undue panic!

Bratcat hasn't had surgery yet but she was telling her brothers about this post. It reminded them of what it looks like when they eat Froot Loops. They are looking forward to seeing what happens if she ends up having surgery. Anyone test Froot Loops yet?

I lived off of Fruit Loops after my surgery and nothing happened...except some weight gain!

Shhh! Don't tell them. They will have something to play with this summer!
