I am still having a lot of drainage from my rectum, and have an appointment with a colon/rectal specialist on the 6th of this month (November),and was wondering if anything can still be done about
it,to help make the drainage stop as far as surgery goes, even though I all ready have a colostomy? This drainage has been going on now for about
two years or so,and it is getting to be a pain,as well as embarrassing when out in public and here at home.I have no warning,it just drains when it feels like it.I had a colonoscopy done through my stoma and my rectum done the first of the last month, and the doctor took a couple of biopsies, but it did not show anything. My understanding from the doctor that did my colostomy, that it would take care of all and any problems that I was having in that department, but now,I don't think the doctor knew what he was talking about
.
If any one out there, has an answer, please answer me back.I am really getting concerned about this and would like something permanent done if it can be done.
Thanks
