Hi All, I am the Spec. Ed. Teacher that went back to work this past week. I am so happy to be back to my normal activities in life. I have some aches and pains that I want to know it anyone else has experienced or can give me some helpful tips. I totally watch what I eat, I am on tuna/chicken, rice cakes, smooth peanut butter(natural of course) and jam. I also take a liquid vitamin in liquid form called LIFE SOURCE. It really helps with energy and gives me all the minerals and vitamins that I need. I also drink several large bottles of "SMART" water because it has added electrolytes to help me with my blood sugar levels. I have hypoglycemia, lactose and glutin intolerences. I am venting because I need some help from my wonderful "Colonic Enertia" friends.
I have been having cramps that feel like menstral cramping. I no longer have a uterus, so it is not from that. I think it is my small intestine trying to adapt to it's new job. It is not gas pains. The other day I was cramping really bad. I went to the bathroom and when I wiped there was BLOOD! It was very red and about the amount of a quarter size. Sorry to sound so graphic, but I just wanted to know if anyone else has had these challenges? It has been 9 weeks since I had my small intestine connected to my rectum. I had my site of connection dilated because the site was too small and causing nausea/vomiting. I had that done 3 weeks ago. I feel much better than that.I called my doctor and she prescribed ULTEAM/TRAMIDOL for the cramps. I had some left over Norco's so I took 1 of those to alleviate the pain. I this normal to cramp and bleed during this healing stage? My energy level is low and I rest as much as I can. Please contact me with some helpful tips. No one, not even my doctors truely understand how tough and horrible the recovery is on this surgery. I hope all of you that reads this is doing well! I wish you all FAITH, HOPE, and much LOVE as you make this journey of recovery! Ramamoorthy's Friend................
