I'm not sure this is the right place to ask but since having the ileostomy (8 weeks) and looking everywhere for any info possible (my new hobby) I've come across people saying excersise is the way to keep the bowel healthy. Also the surgeon said to keep excersising in readiness for the next surgery (reversal). So does anyone know what is the best sort of excersise for optimum health to my innards. I'm more of a yoga kind of girl and walking I'm not really into anything that requires bouncing though I would change that if I thought it would do me some good.
So is Yoga beneficial or is this too light? what should I be doing?
