reversal surgery yesterday

Hey ya'll, just thought I would drop by and let everyone know that my reversal surgery was a success. I no longer have the "worm" on my belly. I am still sore and somewhat swollen from the surgery. I have not eaten any solid foods yet but that will come in time. I have thrown up twice but i think that is because my system has not fully awakened yet. Otherwise my doctor says that I am doing fine and should be able to go home sometime tomorrow afternoon. I had been looking forward to getting this done for quite sometime now and now that it is done, I am happy I did. No more baggage to deal with and now I can spend the money I would have spent on supplies, to pay for other things instead.

Thanks for being there ya'll and thanks for all the support you've given to me over the last 14 months while I was dealing with this.

Miss UK, I will keep in touch with everyone here. It will take awhile for things to get back to normal. I will be off work for about 6 weeks and during that time I will be looking for a new job. So the only two things I will have to worry about is my dog bugging me and trying to jump on me, and also trying to get out of bed every day. In the hospital i have a bed that i can sit up in, but at home there is a flat bed that I have to learn how to sit up in instead. I hope your surgery goes just as well as mine did, I have a great doctor. He's cool, sorta hippy looking with a pony tail.
Anyway, keep us posted on how ur doin as well.
