Hello Stanley and me. Welcome to HW.com ---
Yeh, you can still be really tender in the belly area, esp if it is not healed. There is a lot of pressure put on the stomach when you sneeze or cough, esp a really deep cough or hard sneeze. It probably wouldn't hurt to run it by your nurse or surgeon, but my guess is that it is probably normal.
You probably had a lot of stuff done internally as well - removal of intestine, etc. which means that everything has been disturbed. It will take a while to settle back down. Keep moving and walking as that will help to work the soreness out and build your muscle tone in your legs, back, stomach.
Best of luck to you.
