Hello All!
I have some news about "flchurchlady" .. She went in for emergency surgery Monday morning, was in ICU for a couple of days and is now recovering in a private room in the hospital. She is very fortunate that all the pieces fell into place for her at the hospital and she was able to go into surgery pretty quickly.
Let me tell you what I know at this point....Last Sunday, she had a veggie pizza and it didn't set well with her. She had really bad abdominal pains late that night and then continued to escalate.. So her husband took her to the ER the wee hours of the morning. They xrayed and found a blockage and 2 perforations 
She was taken to a nearby hospital that had a surgeon of 21 years available to do the surgery on her immediately. So she has 2 ileostomies at this point, the functioning one and the original one. She will have to have another surgery done the road. She's our very special friend now with 2 ileostomies but is blessed to be alive.
She has been reading her email and I think she said this forum but gets too tired to actually type a message right now. (her husband brought her a computer to the hospital.)
That is what I know at this point. I'll keep ya updated...
