Please pray for my friends Donna's son Drew....He is at knoxville ut hospital with flesh eating disease anad just found out he was diabetic...he is 19 and had three surgeries since sunday......

hi dusti,

I sent you an e-mail because I would like to know your experiences with colectomy and general dysmotility. I have CIP meaning that my stomach and my small bowel don't work well and my large bowel did not work at all. I had several surgeries and in December 2008 a total colectomy and ileostomy due to colonic and rectal inertia.

here's the mail:

as far as I remember you had a total colectomy at the age of 13. Three years later you had a proctocolectomy with a j-pouch because you had developed rectal inertia.
Two years later you got your ileostomy due to the disease that had spread upon your small intestine as well. So how long did it take you to notice symptoms of small bowel dysmotility? Were they existent before the age of 18? Was it a process or a sudden event?
How long did the relief from the colectomy and from the proctocolectomy last?

how are you are doing now with the ileostomy? Do you have still obstructions?

Please pray for my boyfriend Dereck.. hes been sick with flu-like symptoms for a week or so and PRAY that it isnt the swine flu. Ehh im so scared about that! And pray that swine flu will end and not mutate like theyre saying it might. Pray for the ones who have it also shakehead
