Anastamosis dilation

Has anyone else had to have their anastamosis dilated? What's involved with that, a hospital stay? Is it outpatient, etc. etc. I may be looking at having to have that done. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I haven't had it done but know that it's usually outpatient.
